K.S.P. Believe It's Cool To Care!

Not just the caretakers,but the students,

helpers, GREEN SCHOOLS COMMITTEE,

& teachers all help to make our school environmentally

friendly.

The Green Schools Commitee members regularly meet up & discuss all the things that can help make our school a better & more environmentally friendly one.

All the members & our great chairperson are all devoted to keeping (& making) this world safe for people,animals,plants & everything else living!

At the moment in our school we have:

• 3 bins in each classroom

• one for paper waste

• one for composting, and 

• one for any remaining waste

• a bird table
• lots of bird feeders
• a live willow maze

Green Schools is a European-wide project designed to encourage whole schools to become involved in action for the environment.

Green School is designed to make awareness of the environment a part of the everyday lives of schools and pupils.

Green Schools is a continuing programme - the award has to be renewed every two years.
